 about HOTSPOT
Q. What is HOTSPOT service?
A. HOTSPOT service provides internet access using the wireless LAN. You can take your PC or PDA with wireless LAN capability out from your home or office, and use it in service areas such as cafes, hotels, and fast food chains, and access to broadband internet.
Q. What are the features of HOTSPOT?
A.

We provide service areas expanding all across Japan.

1 DAY PASSPORT(prepaid card) is available at 500 JPY (tax included) for a single day use. (an ideal plan for first-time users or short-term visitors to Japan)

Affordable price of just JPY 1,680(tax included) per month for unlimited use at any service area you choose. (very reasonable compared to mobile access using PHS or cellular phone)

Not OS-specific or device specific.By only using the standard specifications, HOTSPOT does not choose any particular OS or device for using the service.

ISP is not required. You can use HOTSPOT service with any types of ISP or with no ISP at all.

Concurrent use with your chosen Internet VPN (Virtual Private Network) will allow you to simultaneously enjoy both access convenience and security. A principal VPN client can be used because HOTSPOT assigns a global IP address to the user's terminal.

With 11b, enjoy the high speed of 11Mbps within the wireless LAN area, and 54Mbps with 11a and 11g.
# Our IEEE802.11a service is provided at channels 34,38,42,46. Wireless LAN devices sold outside Japan may not operate at these channels. Please consult your wireless LAN device manual to check for compatibility.
