Global Roaming (iPass) delivers global internet access. With your HOTSPOT Login ID and Password, you can connect to the internet at public locations with broadband access or with dial up access both in Japan and overseas, operated by companies in conjunction with US iPass Inc.

25 JPY per minute (tax exemption) for usage from overseas
26.25 JPY per minute (tax included) for usage within Japan

20 JPY per minute (tax exemption) for usage of access points in overseas
21 JPY per minute (tax included) for usage of access points in Japan
Dial Up Access [TOLLFREE] (MODEM,ISDN)
35 JPY per minute (tax exemption) for usage of access points in overseas
36.75 JPY per minute (tax included) for usage of access points in Japan
The above fees are charged for each access, and access time is calculated in minutes. For example, if a user accesses the internet with Wi-Fi for five minutes and twenty seconds abroad, the access time is rounded up to six minutes.

* You can also use this service from access points in Japan operated by companies that are members of the iPass service network. * Service fees for Global Roaming (iPass) will be charged monthly. If the date of login and logout differ, the access time will appear on your bill as the day on which you logged out. * Service fees are billed two months after the time you use the service. Depending on the local ISP, allow for some delay in billing timing. * Note that service fees are subject to change. * Service fees are not charged for downloading the software required for connection (iPassConnect NTT Communications).
* To use Dial Up Access [STANDARD] service, you need to make a dial up call to the access point, which shall be prepared at your own expense and effort. * To use Dial Up Access [TOLLFREE] service, dial up call fee will be free of charge (i.e. included in the HOTSPOT charge). Some hotel may charge extra fee such as hotel charge. Dial Up Access [TOLLFREE] access point is reachable only from within the country where the access point is located. |

Global Roaming(iPass) can only accept passwords up to 15 characters long. |
*If you are currently using a Password with more than 16 characters for the HOTSPOT service, you will need to shorten the Password on the Member Support page.
