| Global Roaming (NESPOT) delivers internet access
through roaming agreement with KT corporation in Republic of Korea.
With your HOTSPOT Login ID and Password, you can connect to the
internet at more than 14,000 service area of KT's wireless LAN
service named "NESPOT". |

Service Fee:
980 JPY per date (tax exemption)
The above fee is charged for the usage until 24:00 of the date of
the initial login. For a cross-date usage, it is deemed that a new
login begins at 0:00. Please note that at the time of crossing the
dates (i.e. when new charge arises), the connection is not automatically
stopped. The time for these charges are based on Japan Standard Time,
which is equal to Korea Standard Time.
Example: When connected from 23:00 of June
12th until 1:00 of June 13th; 980JPY(tax exemption) is charged for
the access until 24:00 of June 12th as the usage of June 12th, and
another 980JPY(tax exemption) is charged for the access from 0:00
of June 13th as the usage of June 13th.
* Global Roaming (NESPOT) is available only with Windows2000 and WindowsXP terminals,
and not available with terminals of other OS including MacOS, PDA,
Windows98, WindowsME. In case you try to access with these terminals,
you might be charged for the usage even if you are not successfully
connected.
* Service fees for Global Roaming (NESPOT) will be charged monthly. * Service
fees are billed two months after the time you use the service. *

The following steps are required to use Global Roaming (NESPOT).

Sign up for the HOTSPOT service. |

Download and install Client Software distributed by KT (English
version).

Launch KT's Client Software in the NESPOT service area. |

On the Client Software, input your HOTSPOT login ID along with "@hotspot.ne.jp"(i.e.
LoginID@hotspot.ne.jp) and Password, and then click connect button. |
*Global Roaming (NESPOT) is available with PC of Windows2000
or Windows XP only.
*If you are currently using a Password with more than 16 characters
for the HOTSPOT service, you need to shorten the Password on the
Member Support page.
*Please use IEEE802.11b compliant wireless LAN devices. IEEE802.11a
compliant devices are not available.
# As of October 13th 2005, it is no longer required to sign up for
the Global Broadband Roaming Service (GBRS) to use Global Roaming Service. In case you desire to stop the GBRS access, please visit the
Customer Center page. |
